Mezzo-soprano Julienne Walker recently graduated from Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a major in Vocal Performance. Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Julienne is currently studying in New York City with Andrew Byrne and Jennifer Waldman. Her Oberlin credits include: Little Women (Jo), Dialogues of the Carmelites (Mere Jeanne); Merry Wives of Windsor (Chorus); The Elixir of Love (Chorus; Oberlin in Italy); as well as Amastre in Xerxes and Fidalma in The Secret Marriage in the Oberlin Opera Theater Scenes program. Julienne also prides herself in singing all types of music and has been honored to be a part of many Musical Theater endeavors including Songs for A New World (lead), many musical theater reviews and cabarets, benefit shows with the Broadway Dreams Foundation and industrial shows with Entertainment Design Group for the Pacers basketball team, as well as singing the opening act for country star John Berry and back up for Manoel Felciano’s recent album release concert.
