Tenor Robert Mack, has received glorious reviews for his powerful but sweet lyric tenor voice, throughout the US and Europe.  He has performed principal roles with noted opera companies, such as New York City Opera, Opéra Française de New York , Houston Grand Opera, Opera Carolina, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Indianapolis Opera, The Paris Bastille, The Tearto Real in Spain, and recently took part in the world famous Metropolitan Opera’s La Fanciulla del West and The Nose.   Mr. Mack recently performed the role of Ferrando in Così Fan Tutte with Opera Carolina and the role of Elijah and Street in Malcolm X with New York City Opera, the tenor solos with The Alvin Ailey Dance Company in Revelations and in New York City Opera’s production of Esther, where he received a favorable mention in Opera News.   In additional recent performances include, Opera Carolina’s Turandot, Anthony and Cleopatra with NYCO,  and Spoleto Festival’s premier of Amistad where the critics made mention of his very solid performance.  Other career highlights include Sportin’ Life in Porgy an Bess with NYCO, Lud (A White House Cantata) with Collegiate Chorale,  Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, Beppe (IL Pagliacci) with NYCO and Opera Carolina,  Remus (Treemonisha) with The Collegiate Chorale, Snake/Vain Man (The Little Prince) with NYCO, Fenton (Falstaff), Alfredo (La Traviata) with The Martina Arroyo Foundation, Remendado (Carmen), the Ballad Singer (Of Mice and Men), Pong (Turandot), Second Shepherd (Daphne), Arturo (Lucia Di Lammermoor) and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi) all with NYCO. Mr. Mack debuted the role of Sportin’ Life (Porgy and Bess) with NYCO and Opera Carolina and recorded the role of Sportin’ Life with The Nasvhville Symphony on Decca Records. Mr. Mack performed on Broadway and toured with the Nationally claimed “Three Mo’ Tenors”.  In past years Mr. Mack performed with the Vineyard’s own The Yard in a production of the Impressario and The Vineyard Playhouse’s production of Ain’t Misbehavin.  Recognizing that he was blessed with a gift from God he was inspired, along two other opera enthusiast, seven years ago he co-founded and is the General Director of  Opera of New of New York.  Up next for Mr. Mack is the tenor lead in Leonard Bernstein’s “Songfest”.
