Tenor Richard Sanchez completed his studies at the Eastman School of Music. He has been a regular featured artist with the Aspen Summer Music Festival performing such roles as Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflote. He has appeared as a guest artist with Houston Grand Opera and Opera Omaha. He made his professional debut as Cavaradossi with the Utah Festival Opera and has returned in subsequent seasons to sing Canio, Pinkerton, and Don José. He has also sung roles with the Sarasota Opera, Opera Idaho, and the Eugene Opera.
