Soprano Solveig Olsen has performed with the Caramoor Festival,
Chicago Opera Theater, Ravinia Festival, as well as the Santa Fe
and Indianapolis Symphonies. Favorite roles include Musetta,
Juliette, Pamina, Gretel, and Ilia. Active in recital and
oratorio, she has been heard on
Chicago’s
classical radio station, at Preston Bradley Hall and was recently
heard at New York’s
Riverside
Church
as soprano soloist in Dvorak’s
Te Deum
and Mozart’s
Requiem, with
the NYC Masterchorale. During 2008, Miss Olsen lived in
Berlin
as a grant recipient of the Anna Sosenko Foundation. She completed
her Master of Music at the acclaimed Indiana University School of
Music.
